We are seeking an experienced Cake Decorators for Part Time positions.

Must have verifiable experience and able to decorate cakes and cupcakes based on customer orders, using fruit, chocolate, whipped cream, buttercream, and fondant. Pictures of previous work strongly preferred.
BASIC PURPOSE AND FUNCTION: Decorates cakes, cookies and other baked goods and desserts for sale to customers. Assists customers with special orders. Provides fast, friendly, personalized customer service. Candidates must be available to work within the hours directed by management to service our customers during peak business and holiday periods.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Decorates cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other dessert items. Assists customers with special orders for decorated baked goods.
Maintains a full, fresh cake and dessert case.
Ensures proper cleanliness and sanitation of decorating work aides and work area. Ensures a safe work environment.
Responsible for assisting other bakery staff on large orders, wholesale products on occasion.
Washing sheet pans and other equipment and tools used in bakery processes.
Responsible for performing all duties with honesty and integrity.
Other necessary and required duties.
SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to frequently lift buckets weighing up to approximately 25 lbs. Ability to frequently reach and maneuver product filled trays within the range of floor level to overhead. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist and turn frequently. Manual dexterity, good eye-hand coordination, and good balance are necessary. Ability to work and move at a production rate of speed.
Ability to be friendly, courteous, tactful and maintain composure in dealing with customers and co-workers. Must possess good communication skills and be able to read and follow written instructions.
Requires creative ability and the ability to identify colors.
MUST love working with the public and maintain professionalism during both peak and slower periods.
Bending 8 hours - Lifting up to 25 pounds max. consistently - Standing up to 8 or more hours.
Exposure to potential hazards exists with respect to mixers, and work aides necessary to perform job duties. Frequent exposure for brief periods of time to -20° Fahrenheit while handling products in the freezer. Working conditions consists of a Bakery Department production area in a temperature controlled store environment. Hands are frequently exposed to water and cleaning agents.
