Measuring Cups, Measuring Spoons and Scales, OH MY!!
Like I said, I'm refocusing - I'm getting back. From weight watchers I learned how important measuring cups, spoons & scales are.
Oh, I used my scale and I looked at the cups & spoons in admiration as they sat there shining in the kitchen ceiling light. After all, I can eye-ball it..... after all how hard can it be? *evil laughter and rubbing hands together from that inner voice that helped me get to where I am*
This week I got those shiny measuring units dirty. I took out an apple, mixed up the natural peanut butter - read the label 2 T, I only need 1 - then came out the tablespoon and a knife *no cheating today!!* .... um, THAT'S A TABLESPOON?!?!?! *big sigh...then another big sigh* I will eat the apple with some low fat cheese. (dice sized and on the scale)
That was yesterday afternoon - today I used that 2 T and spread it on a CocoPop and topped it with sliced, fresh, no sugar added, strawberries and blueberries. A much better choice.
Now off...
