Chic decor, sophisticated menu at Holland's CityVu Bistro | MLive.com
Really, we knew better.
When the food runner at CityVu Bistro delivered an amazing butternut squash bisque with marvelous applewood smoked bacon ($3), we experienced a powerful hunger for a bowlful of winter's earthy flavors.
We knew this serving of squash soup was meant for another table, considering only one person in our party had ordered it. But we graciously accepted the luscious soup, which is roasted until its sugars concentrate into a velvety smoothness.
