Hancock County Savings Bank among cooking school sponsors

Among this year's major sponsors is Hancock County Savings Bank. The bank has been a major local sponsor of the Taste of Home Cooking School for several years.

"Hancock County Savings Bank is pleased to be a major sponsor for the annual Cooking School," Cathy Ferrari, president and chief executive officer of the bank, said. "This event has become a tradition, and people from the Tri-State Area look forward to it each year. The cooking school provides an enjoyable, entertaining evening for everyone who attends."

The local bank, with branches in Weirton, New Cumberland and Chester, also has donated several door prizes for the event, including a 24-inch flat screen television, a 12-piece set of porcelain nonstick cookware and a Keurig coffee maker.

Hancock County Savings Bank also will have a table in the vendors' room, which will be available to patrons prior to the start of the main event.
